Dear Colleagues and Friends!
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 4th Delta Cure Meeting in Hannover in October 2025. Over the years, this symposium has firmly established itself as the leading international meeting dedicated to hepatitis D virus (HDV) infection, bringing together experts from around the world to advance our understanding of this challenging disease.
The scientific program will comprehensively cover all aspects of HDV, from epidemiology to fundamental virological and immunological research, through to the characterization of clinical disease progression and the determinants of liver disease complications, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). These discussions will provide crucial insights into the pathogenesis of HDV infection and its long-term outcomes.
On the second day, the focus will shift towards therapeutic strategies for HDV, featuring discussions on both approved and emerging treatment options. Given the exciting progress in the field, this session will highlight the latest advances, ongoing clinical trials, and potential future treatment paradigms.
A key feature of this meeting is the integration of cutting-edge data, ensuring that the most recent and impactful research findings are shared. We are particularly committed to supporting early-career researchers, and a significant portion of the program will be dedicated to short abstract presentations, providing a platform for young investigators to showcase their work.
We extend our deepest gratitude to all sponsors and supporters who make this meeting possible. Your contributions help foster collaboration and innovation in the fight against HDV.
We look forward to welcoming you to Hannover in October 2025 for an engaging and insightful exchange of knowledge.
