This Data Privacy Notice discloses practices surrounding the collection of personal data arising from the use of our website. Personal data are any data that can identify you as an individual, such as name, address, email addresses and user behavior.

If you register for one of our events, we will process the personal data required by you to register, for example your address, first name, last name, e-mail address, company or institution, and telephone number. We process your personal data pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR within the framework of pre-contractual and contractual relations for the purpose of registration and execution of the event. As part of the technical realization of the registration form, your personal data will be transmitted to third parties. We have no influence on the technical conditions. We delete the data generated in this context after the storage is no longer necessary, or restrict the processing if statutory retention obligations exist. You may object to the processing of your personal data at any time. However, participation in the events is no longer possible. We point out that the owner of this website is Effetti srl www.effetti.it and responsible for the treatment ex. art. 28 GDPR 679/2016 in relation and limited to the treatments that Effetti carries out on the site. Effetti srl will only and exclusively carry out site maintenance activities.
As a third-party provider for the registration process for the purchase of the conference ticket and the corresponding payment processing, we have an order processing contract with Converia GmbH, Kaufstr. 2-4, Weimar, Germany. Type of processing:

As a third-party provider for newsletter mailings, we have an order processing contract with rapidmail, Positive Group Deutschland GmbH, Wentzingerstr. 21, 79106 Freiburg im Breisgau.
Various payment options are offered for processing payments when participants register for an event (e.g., invoice/bank transfer, credit card, PayPal). Sensitive payment information is not stored in the conference management system. Specially certified payment service providers are used for this purpose, which process and store the data. Users are redirected to the websites of the respective providers for this purpose. Further information on data protection can be found on the websites of the respective service providers.

We use the payment service provider secupay AG, Goethestraße 6, 01896 Pulsnitz, Germany, to process payments. secupay AG is a payment institution approved by the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
Secupay acts under its own responsibility for data protection (Section 1 (1) sentence 2 no. 6 ZAG in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) lit. b, c and f GDPR) and processes your personal data exclusively for the purpose of executing and processing the respective payment transaction.
The following data in particular is processed during the payment process:
- Payment information (e.g., IBAN, credit card number, verification code, payment amount)
- Transaction data (e.g., time, reference number, purpose)
- Contact details (e.g., name, address, email address)
Data processing is carried out for the purpose of secure and reliable payment processing and to fulfill legal obligations for fraud prevention, money laundering, and record-keeping.

The data is only transferred to the recipients required for payment processing, in particular banks, credit institutions, and, if applicable, commissioned IT service providers.
The data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the processing purpose. Secupay deletes or anonymizes your data in accordance with legal requirements once the processing purpose has ceased to exist.

Verein für Fortbildung in der GHE e.V. is not responsible for data privacy policies and/or practices on other websites and Verein für Fortbildung in der GHE e.V. has no influence as to whether the operators of other websites act in compliance with data protection provisions.
